The Understated collection takes our sleeves to a new level, reworking every part of the design process from the ground up. We started with the core, the materials, and obsessively tried to develop those to the next level. We managed to improve the signature materials; vegetable-tanned leather, felt, and gunmetal alloy hardware. |
True to our vision, these sleeves are contemporary and remarkably simple. The products don’t shout, ‘look at me,’ but rather calmly hint craftsmanship through their understated appearance and the quality of its materials.Reworked signature leather
We spent months perfecting our leather. We managed to find ways to make it more durable, denser, and soft to touch. The updated leather feels smooth, with rich colors, and intense tones. We also focused on its character. |
The leather wears in with use and acquires beautiful patina and polish over time, as it becomes part of your daily life. The full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather used is manufactured with care, waxed to extend durability, and carefully treated with aniline oil to enrich ‘color tones’.
Due to the nature of full vegetable tanned leathers, it features a very dense and compact structure; a final buff is applied to the already short fibers to ensure a smooth underside with a sophisticated soft touch. The short fibers and dense structure ‘eliminate’ the need for cosmetic additions like lining and painted edges. The quality of the leather enables us to leave it cosmetically untouched while emphasizing the character of the material and staying true to the concept of the collection; nude leather and raw edges emphasize the understated and sleek appearance.

Cleverly cut out of one single piece of full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, these sleeves create a slim and secure space for your device with an integrated pocket in just one stitch. Marked by a slant line, an integrated pocket enables you to conveniently store a few essentials. It’s incredibly simple, functional, and remarkably elegant. |
Another new design is the leather iPhone 5s wallet case, designed to eliminate bulky pockets and fat wallets, lined with suede made from the underside of our vegetable-tanned leather. We’ve designed the iPhone 5s wallet case as slim as possible, just the right size to fit your iPhone plus some cards. This sleek package with a leather card holding slot on the back of the case allows you to conveniently store a few bank or ID cards and some cash for quick access. Clever openings expose the volume rockers, headphone-jack, and lighting connector; enabling you to listening to your favorite music and charge your iPhone while your device is protected. |
The 13″ Macbook folio, designed to fit all 13” Macbooks, has a powerful and seductively understated presence. This is due in considerable part to the noticeably large surface of tan-colored high quality vegetable-tanned leather on the front of the sleeve. This creates a deliberate and powerful contrast with the large surface of light grey felt on the back, separated by a high quality custom-built gunmetal alloy zipper alongside the sleeves edge, following a subtle curve – a calm hint of craftsmanship. The sophistically integrated double storage compartments allow you to store documents, earplugs, pencils, and other essentials. We’ve integrated a leather brand label with slots inside the sleeve, made from the underside of the vegetable-tanned leather, to store bank and ID cards as well as a SD card, as an additional feature. |

Last but not least, our praised Macbook sleeve, available in 13 and 15 inch, has returned in its best shape ever. The leather flap, with one snap button on the right, provides a simple closure and keeps your device secure. The rivets are lined to keep your Macbook from touching anything but soft, thick felt. The integrated storage compartment allows you to store documents, earplugs, and other essentials. As an additional feature, we’ve integrated a bank and SD card slot. |
